The European Commission has imposed a total fine of 131.5 million euros in five companies accused of price fixing of marine hoses used to fill the tanks of crude oil tankers. The cartel between the Japanese Bridgestone (ordered to pay 58.5 million euros), the Anglo-German Dunlop Oil and Marine (18 million), the Swedish Trelleborg (24.5 million), and Italians Parker ITR ( 25.6 million) and Manuli (4.9 million) lasted from 1986 to 2007.
