2007 | Romania : A third hearth of swine-fever was discovered in a breeding of the American company Smithfield in the department of Timis (western of Romania), announced to Thursday the director of the medical Authority veterinary (ANSVSA), Radu Roatis. This third farm, which raised approximately 16.000 pigs, is near another breeding where the authorities had discovered the virus at the beginning of August.
