Yves de Chaisemartin, was condemned for abuse of corporate asset to two years suspended sentence and a 150.000 euros fine by the court of Paris judges, within the framework of the sale of the Parisian headquarters of France-Soir in 1989. The proceedinfs related to the conditions of transfer by Socpresse of the Parisian seat of France-Soir, street Réaumur in Paris. The sale of this building, negotiated 550 franc million (83  million euros) has given place to the payment a commission of 91 franc million (13 million euros) which would have forwarded by bank IBSA, ex-subsidiary of the Crédit Lyonnais, before disappearing on  offshore accounts. Yves de Chaisemartin was then executive vice president of Socpresse. |
