Richard Pratt has been charged with lying about a price-fixing cartel. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) said it had begun criminal proceedings against Pratt "for allegedly providing false or misleading evidence in the course of an investigation." The Federal Court imposed a 36-million-dollar (33.5-million-US) fine after finding that a secret pricing deal with rival firm Amcor breached anti-trust laws. |
