The European Commission judges 8 carbon steel tubes without welding producers for illegal cartel and fines them between 8 and 13 million euros each. The companies had concluded an agreement having in particular for object the mutual respect their national markets. Under the terms of this agreement, concluded at meetings between producers baptized "club Japan Europe", each company avoided selling borehole tubes and pipes of transport "Project" on the national market of the other participating company. |
