ILO violation 131 : DeCoro workers at Pingshan, near Shenzhen, said the management had tried to lay off 75 employees with compensation amounting to less than half the minimum wage. At a meeting with the company president, the wokers were assaulted by 100 security guards armed with iron bars. Three workers were cornered and badly beaten, they were admitted to hospital and one was in a coma.: China
